Nitrile (acrylonitrile – NBR, also known as Buna “N”) is the least expensive elastomer with excellent resistance to petroleum based products such as oil, fuel oil, gasoline, etc. Nitrile has limited ozone resistance but good low temperature flexibility. Temperature range from -40° to 212° F.
