EPDM (also known as EPT or EPR) is an excellent low cost elastomer where the maximum environmental resistance is required. EPDM has excellent resistance to water, steam, coolant, ozone, and sunlight (UV), but virtually no resistance to fuel or oil. EPDM also provides the widest temperature range of common elastomeric products. Temperature range -60° to 240° F.
