available from BRP Manufacturing for flat sheet:
Smooth Finish Calendered Rubber Sheet
BRP Manufacturing Company manufactures sheet rubber from 1/64" (.016") through 1/8" (.125") thick in standard widths of 36" and 48" wide. This material is manufactured in virtually all of the polymers available from BRP including butyl, epichlorohydrin, Hypalon and fluoroelastomers.
Smooth Finish Molded Rubber Sheet
BRP Manufacturing Company molds smooth finish sheet rubber from 3/16" (.187") through 2" thick in both 36" wide (25 ft long) and 48" wide (24 ft long). These rolls lengths present an advantage to those applications where long lengths are required. Most of the polymers available from BRP can be made in thick sheet, not just the standard Neoprene or Buna "N".
Nylon (Fabric/Matte) Finish Calendered Rubber Sheet
BRP Manufacturing Company manufactures fabric finish material from 1/32" through 1/4" thick in 36", 48" and 60" widths. This material is ideal for those applications with brush type adhesives or non-slip surface is required.
Fabric Inserted Sheet or Diaphragm Sheet Rubber
BRP Manufacturing Company manufactures many types of C.I. sheet with cotton, nylon or polyester in thicknesses from 1/16" through 1/4". Standard products include Neoprene, SBR and Buna "N" (NBR) with specialty polymers including EPDM or butyl. Standard widths includes both 36" and 48" wide. Standard cloth inserted products come in fabric weights up to 10 oz. while ALL diaphragm sheet has a fabric weight greater than 10 oz. per square yard.
Close Tolerance (Buffed) Rubber Sheet
Thickness tolerances as narrow as +/- .003" are available from BRP Manufacturing Company in widths up to 48". Buffing is available in sheet material with a durometer of 50 or more. Buffed finish material also accepts adhesive better than any other surface condition. Please contact your customer service representative to determine the best thickness tolerance available for the product needed.
Slit-to-Width Rubber Sheet
BRP Manufacturing Company has the capabilities to slit rubber sheet to almost any width in thicknesses up to 1/4", In addition, BRP will sheet material to the needed width and length.
Paper Interleaf
BRP Manufacturing Company also provides material with a paper interleaf to enhance any adhesive application. With material available in widths up to 60", this feature will minimize the waste of expensive 54" wide adhesives.
Laboratory Services
BRP Manufacturing Company has a complete laboratory available for the testing and preproduction approval necessary for many of the requirements of OEM, aftermarket and governmental testing standards. Standard features include temperature resistance (both low and high), compression set, ozone resistance, fluid resistances (including oil, fuel and water) and tear resistance.
